The generally accepted manner for finding the area of an irregular polygon is to break it up into triangles and possibly a rectangle, then calculate each and add the totals. Enter the length of the sides for each triangle you use; up to 10 of them. Triangles do NOT need to be right triangles. Enter the length and width of the side of the rectangle.
